All of us yearn for a more fulfilling life. We all long for a more successful career, deeper and more meaningful relationships, a healthier and more robust body. Sometimes when we see people who seem to have it all, we imagine that it’s all a matter of chance. But this is not true. We can learn to live better and feel better. This is something in our hands.
We all plan out our lives but not everything goes per plan. We make exercise regimes and but do not follow it. American experts fought over the new food guide pyramid, some of them realised that the little person running up the side of the pyramid may be the most important aspect. Adults will have to exercise at least 30 minutes most days. Food and exercise play an important role in bettering our life. Some people try to bring down the weight by cutting out drastically on their diet but the weight lost thus is only temporary. There are many ways to cut down weight without cutting down on our diet. Following different type of diets won’t work as they are deficient, not only in Calories but also in one or more nutrients. When such diets are followed the results last only for a short period. After following such diets our body tends to think there is a famine and starts conserving energy when the individual returns to normal eating pattern. Following these diets may lead to develop meant of deficiency diseases such as anaemia, weakness, softening of bones due to calcium deficiency, skin lesions because of lack of essential fatty acids in the diet, loss of lean body tissue from the body, loss of hair and in women irregular menstrual cycle.
Our mind plays an important role in our life. Our thoughts should be pure negative feelings examples jealously can be an ugly emotion, born of insecurity or possessiveness. Jealously is protection for Love, a reaction to a perceived threat to a valued relationship. Meditation and yoga help to keep our minds healthy. Art of living helps in overcoming worry to improve our luck, raising children the right way, to getting close to our family. So let us see some of the ways to better our life mentally and physically.
